PIERRE BOTARDO Through collage Pierre Botardo creates images for universal themes of lonliness, temptation and impermanence. Botardo’s collages make these concepts tangible while simultaneously blurring the literal interpretation of the pre-existing images he uses to compose these works. Faces look toward one another, faces cut from differing sources, and far off places become the settings for feelings that hit home– by addressing our own mortality.
